Hi Björn,

I must extend a calendar rendered by t:calendar with some information, like shown in demo workplace ("Calendar with information").

But the attributes extcalendarbuffer, extcalendarid and extcalendarmode are only available for t:calendarfield.

Could you please supply the calendar extension for t:calendar?

Best regards, Daniel

Uuuh, my plan (to be honest...) was to silently deprecate these functions (e.g. also for the RISC-client) because I thought, no-one is using them anyway. - Now you prove that I might be wrong with this assumption. ;-)

We can add this, but I would like to at same point of time also add this to the RISC-component in parallel. Should be something to be finished in 2 weeks. Is this OK for you?

Hi Björn,

Thank for providing this feature.

I have realized that there is still a difference between t:calendar and t:calendarfield. In case of t:calendarfield, the calendar information is updated as soon as the calendar is popped up. (I suppose that ExtCalendarServlet is then called.) But with t:calendar, I don't see the possibility to trigger the client in order to reload the latest calendar information.

Could you please provide such a mechanism?

Regards, Daniel

Hi,

I checked and - you were right! - there was some difference in the behavior when updating the calendar-id. The bug is fixed with 20170320.

Thanks! Björn

Hi Björn,

It still does not work as expected.

Please look at the attached screenshot sequence.

Flush attributes for checkbox and calendar are both set to true.

Kind regards, Daniel

Hi David,

I checked and did not find a problem...

Please note: the calendar does only change its internal information if the calendar id is changed, so if you switch from the one to the next. Are you updating the calendar id in you example?

Hi Björn,

No, I was not updating the calendar id.
By temporary changing the id at every flush, now the calendar refresh works as expected.

Thank you very much for your always proficient and effective support.

Regards, Daniel
