If IE 10/11 are run in so called "compatibility mode" then they fall back into IE7/8 behavior... The method "addEventListener" was not supported for theses releases, so you get the corresponding message.

Consequence: open the IE compatibility mode settings (from tools-menu) and change them so that normal IE is used for the CAptainCasa pages.
