Hi,
we are using the ODD/EVEN feature in a FIXGRID. The ODD Color is set, the EVEN Color is left blank and uses the white color of the FIXGRID itself.
In the columns there is only a single label.
We want to have some special lines which shell be red. But it seems like the ODD/EVEN mechanics overwrite all other BACKGROUND and BGPAINT attributes.
If the BACKGROUND of the label is set, all EVEN rows, which do not have a set DRAWODDEVENBACKGROUNDEVEN color are getting the BACKGROUND color of the label. The ODD rows are painted in their DRAWODDEVENBACKGROUNDODD color and dont mind any BGPAINT or BACKGROUND value of the inner elements (the label).

Hi,
yes, odd-even colors are applied on top of the existing colors/BGPAINT-operations. Please use colors with transparency for odd/even (#rrggbbtt where tt is the transparency), then the application colors will shine through.

Hi,
isnt there a possibility to "slave" the odd even colors and let the label BACKGROUND or BGPAINT be the master. So in case i define a color explicit, this color has to be taken.
Otherwise I am not able to color anthing when I use the odd/even feature. And with the transparency feature I will end up in a mix color. A signal color red gets a brown on (grey) odd rows and a bright red on the white ones.

Is there a way? - Status quo: no, the odd/even is always applied. Typically this is seen as advantage ;-). Of course, if you define any odd/even background what is not a gray-shading, then colors are changed accordingly. Typically, is using some light graying (#00000010) then colors are not too much modified and odd/even is still visible...

The feature itself is nice, no doubt. But thats its is superior in all manners is no advantage for the given scenario. If you select a row, the paint is also changed to help the user with a certain row ;)
Lets see if i can sell a new, lighter odd color with the transparency. Looking forward to a posibility in the future to mark some rows with a explicit color.
