perhaps this is interesting for some of you.
We had an issue with IE11 and SAP GUI 7.30 Patchlevel 7 and greater.
This issue is not only relevant for SAP GUI, but since this Patchlevel 7 SAP removed an registry entry for IE7-Compatibility for there webviewer control so this also affects SAP GUI.

We are using the deployJava.js for deploying applets. This Java applets are called from SAP webviewer plugin.
Since IE11-Control does no longer identifies itself as MSIE but as trident-engine applets stopped working for SAP GUI 7.30 PL7.

We solved this issue by updating deployJava.js which now also detects Trident as MSIE.

So we encourige you to update deployJava.js from http://www.java.com/js/deployJava.js
when you embedd applets within IE11-Control (not standalone IE11, which still works).
