Hi Björn,
it would be really nice if we could pass file filters to the file upload components (at least for the extensions).
Thanks for thinking it over

Hi Frauke,
sometimes "doing it" is faster than "thinking about it" ;-) - the next update wil provide a "filextensions" attribute for FILEUPLOAD; FILEUPLOADLINK, FILEUPLOADBUTTON, FILECHOOSER. You can pass a semicolon separated list of extensions which is shown as filter in the file chooser.

Hi Björn,
I used this new feature for uploading a pdf document and it works really fine. The only thing I see are pdf documents.
So far so good.
The problem is, if there isn't any pdf document I can not select any folders to see if there are some documents in there. The only thing I can do to is change the location to look in. But without seeing any folders or directories there is no way to find a document that is placed somewhere deep within the file system...
Is there a way to change this behaviour and also display folders and directories within this dialogue?
Regards
Stephan

Hi Björn,
the file folders are also filtered by the file filter settings.

Hi Frauke,
yes, what you describe is exactly the behaviour - and is not nice...
We updated the file selection to always include directories as well.
Thanks for telling us...
