Hello Captain,

with your latest version (3_0_20100819_1) there is a problem with the literal files included in the server (Literals_xx.properties) and client (clientliterals_xx.properties) components of eclnt.

The "Umlaute" are sometimes not properly escaped. Can you please check and fix it for the next version?

Thanks
Tobias

Hi,

yes, we have some UTF-8 characters inside, but they all appeary correctly in our scenarios. Can you give an example of wrong characters, that you now see?

Anyway: we will continue to escape the "German Umlaute"... - but it would be interesting for us, why we do not see this behaviour.

Thanks + Regards!
Björn

Hi,

in clientliterals_de.properties, we find in the original version lines like this:
clientconfig = Konfiguration der Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che

but also

startprocess_title = Bestätigung des Programmstarts

which is a mixture of escape and unescaped "Umlaute".

Hello Captain,

with the new version, the problem is fixed for the clientliterals, but there is still this mixture in the server-side translation file for german (Literals_de.properties)
