we try to activate the basic-authentication in out CC gui application.
Inside of tomcat everything works fine, inside of weblogic server 10.3 we get an exception (@see: attachment), followed by a NullPointerException at client side.
While debugging the app we find out, that the <code>java.security.Principal</code> is set right.

any idea?

...we are just preparing a version with more excessive log output and send it to you. The null pointer "normally must not occur"... but the log tells something different.
